1989 Arctic Cat Cheetah Touring

Pre production unit, has a 1988 vin number (8809751) but many new-for-1989 styling components on it. The hood, windshield, seat/foam, tunnel extension, taillight housing and more are all unique components that are very different from 1988 but not exactly like the 1989 production units either. This has the rare fiberglass handlebar pad that was normally only seen on the display models when they were being shown in the spring of 1989. We bought this in autumn 2005 and have mostly just done some mechanical repairs on this since then, cosmetically it is a very nice original survivor. Was originally sold through Harold's Arctic Sales in Tower Minnesota. 500 fan-cooled engine, 16"x156" track, electric start, reverse, mirrors, handwarmers and the 2-passenger seating are all standard on this model.
