1982 Arctic Cat Pantera Prototype

This is one of the pre-production prototype snowmobiles that was built by Arctic Enterprises for what would have been the 1982 model year. Had it been produced, this model was to have a 440 liquid-cooled engine with oil-injection. As with most of the 1982 prototypes it is believed only around 6 of this model would have ever been built. We are the second owner of this, the previous owner used it as a daily driver for many years. The bulkhead, belly pan and console are all similar to an 81 Pantera. The hood, tunnel, skid frame, oil tank, radiator mounts are all different from production parts and are unique to this sled. No vin number on this sled ever.
